Hans Blake, CFA, CPA (Intelligent Investing Advisors)
Hans is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) who managed over $350M before founding Intelligent Investing, LLC and Intelligrations™. He has an insatiable desire to learn and has a unique blend of creativity and attention to detail.
Hans graduated from Bob Jones University in public accounting, before earning a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of business. Soon after, he became a licensed CPA and joined a large public accounting firm in Charlotte. Later, he and his wife lived in London while he worked for Deloitte. After their world travels, they returned to his hometown roots of Greenville.
The Chartered Financial Analyst® charter is considered by many to be the gold standard among financial professionals. Less than 20% of those who start the process ever become CFA® charterholders. Hans was awarded the CFA® charter after passing three levels of rigorous exams and demonstrating four years of professional investment experience, as well as a commitment to uphold a comprehensive code of ethics. He has been interviewed by The Greenville News, has appeared on WYFF News 4 and has frequented NPR and local radio programs to talk about the markets and portfolio management.
Hans is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society of South Carolina, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Hans has a soft spot for orphans, widows, and the needy. He and his wife also support an orphanage in Zambia while serving at Cornerstone Baptist Church, where they attend. In his spare time, Hans collects board games and enjoys playing them with his four children.
Guy Fragle (JPMorgan Asset Management)
Guy Fragle, Executive Director, is a Client Advisor for the Southeast region of J.P. Morgan’s Institutional Advisor Business, based in Atlanta and has nearly 30 years of asset management experience. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2016, he was a Regional Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he worked with RIAs, also in the Southeast. Before joining Goldman, Guy was a partner in a boutique private wealth management firm which managed portfolios of alternative investments for institutional and high net worth investors. Earlier in Guy’s career, he served as the Director of Enterprise Sales at PNC Bank where he led a team that grew platform assets from $50 to $85 billion. Guy holds a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and lives in Alpharetta Georgia with his wife and two children.
Richard (“Rich”) Gonzales (Grant Park Funds)
Richard Gonzales has been Regional Vice President for Dearborn Capital Management/Grant Park Funds since 2001. Prior to his current role, Mr. Gonzales spent 11 years on the trading floors of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) where he actively traded in commodity, currency, stock, and bond markets. His formative experiences in the trading pits have provided a unique outlook on investing, risk, and financial markets, especially in sectors outside of traditional stocks and bonds.
Mr. Gonzales was a Full Member of the CBOT and currently holds a Series 7 securities license as well as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. A native Chicagoan, Mr. Gonzales now lives in Charleston, SC. He is a 1985 graduate of Illinois State University where he earned a BS in Psychology.
Dan Collins (Collins & Collins)
Mr. Collins is Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law. His practice is limited to estate planning and tax and personal planning for the preservation, control, and transfer of wealth.
He received his B.A. in English from the University of South Carolina in 1967, and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1975.

Chad Groover (Upstate Elder Law)
Chad Groover is the managing shareholder at Upstate Elder Law, PA. His law practice focuses on estate planning, probate administration, long term care planning, Medicaid qualification, special needs planning, and probate litigation.
Prior to beginning private practice in Greenville, Chad served as a Special Assistant United States (SAUSA) Attorney with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa. As a SAUSA, Chad worked on an Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force prosecuting federal narcotics and firearms crime.
Before serving as a SAUSA, Chad was a Counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Crime. As a Counsel, he planned hearings and drafted legislation on behalf of Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA). He advised Sen. Grassley on all matters related to federal criminal law, homeland security, Constitutional law, and whistleblower protection. He also worked as Sen. Grassley’s oversight Counsel assisting with the Congressional oversight of the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Chad is a past Chairman of the South Carolina Bar Elder Law Committee and a current board member of the South Carolina chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Chad also serves as a deacon at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Greenville. He and his wife Gwen have two children, Ava and Willes.
Neil Hyneman (Calamos Investments)
Neil J. Hyneman, CFP®, CIMA®, CRPS®, joined Calamos Investments in 2011 and is a Vice President – Investment Consultant, serving investment professionals across North Carolina, Southern Virginia, West Virginia, and Upstate South Carolina. Prior to joining Calamos, Neil was a Registered Representative & Investment Advisor Representative for the Premier Wealth Group – an office of MetLife, in Downers Grove, IL.
Neil earned a BA from Columbia College Chicago and is registered with FINRA with Series 6, Series 63, Series 7, and Series 65 licenses. He has been in the financial services industry since 2008 and resides in Summerfield, NC with his wife, Samantha, and their three children.
